Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Dillon attended Vanderbilt University for his Bachelor of Science degree, and returned home to receive his medical degree from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Dillon served his internship, residency, chief residency, and cardiology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center.
Dr. Dillon is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, with a specialty certificate in Cardiovascular Disease. He is certified in both echocardiography and nuclear medicine, and he holds a courtesy appointment as a Clinical Professor in Medicine at the University of Florida. Dr. Dillon has a keen interest in research, as shown by his involvement as a primary investigator and participant in multiple research protocols over the years. Dr. Dillon has been recognized by the “American Registry of Outstanding Professionals," “Best Doctors in America” and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Dillon has been a part of Cardiology Associates of Gainesville since 1982. In his leisure time, Dr. Dillon enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
